Introduction |
This section contains quick reference showings of 5,000 typestyles which are available for your lettering and signage requirements. With more than 125 pages, it can take a while to browse. So, in order to make your task easier, some explanation of how the pages are organized and suggestions for using this section are offered: ORGANIZATION OF THE FONT SECTIONThe Font Section is divided into five category groups of type styles
There is also an index of font names which also indicates into which category the font is assigned. Most fonts have full character sets, however some fonts contain only capital letters and do not have lower case letters. As you browse the quick reference showings, you'll notice fonts with full character sets are shown in upper and lower case. Fonts with only capital letters are shown in upper case only. BROWSING THE FONTS OR FINDING A FONT BY NAMEFINDING A FONT BY STYLEIf you're undecided as to any particular font selection, we suggest you browse by style. Just click on the category you like and you'll be on the first page of that section. Then just use the Next and Back arrows to browse the pages in alphabetical order. FINDING A FONT BY NAMEIf you're looking, for example, for a font named Clearface Bold, and you're uncertain as to its category, look in the index for the name and category classification. In this case, you would find it listed on Page 2 of the index followed by (8) and Serif. The (8) indicates the number of versions of Clearface available. Next, click on the link for Serif Fonts and then the alphabetical link Ch-Co and you will be on the page that displays Clearface Bold.
